Typical way of submission item way is shown below. You may set status "Not Applicable" to any submission item. This status means that product is out of destination site acceptable set.
Submissions items
The submissions list creates as result of product distribution. Each submission item indicates state of your product submission in one site. It is useful to track your promotion results in details. You can export this data to external file for detailed analysis or reporting purposes.
Promote using auto-forms
Software-Promoter does submissions process quick and easy using all the power of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Here is how it works:
First, navigate web page using built-in Software-Promoter browser. Instead of typing into web form fields, drag macros from the left panel and drop it to the field in the loaded page. When page is filled out correctly, save the filled auto-form as new "auto-form" for later use. Give descriptive name to created auto-form. You can have any count of auto-fill forms for each site. Typically you'll create forms such as "Search product", "Filling personal info page", "Submit page", "Submit a new product", "Update product".
Some sites have a submission forms as dynamically generated web pages. These pages do not have a static URL and you must check the "without URL" option in the auto-form definition.
To use auto-forms without a URL you must navigate yourself to the appropriate page and click the "Refill page". Auto-forms without a URL are marked by "?" symbol instead of "*".
When check the submission results in a distribution site, you may find the old version of your product. Some sites take so long time to process your submission requests that you release new product version. Sometimes you simply have no time to trace all previous results on each site. This is a good idea to use the checkmark to track all old versions for statistical and tracking purposes. This enables you construct your own subjective rating for sites better. Press the "Set status to..." button and set any previous submission item to any state. If status already exists, it indicates by a check mark on the drop down menu item. Before you close the auto-form window, specify correct the "last date checked" and "downloads counter". This is the best way to obtain results for further statistics. To check presence of an earlier version on a site you can create an auto-form called "Check of presence" or something similar or use Automated Google search.
To edit auto-form properties use the command "Manual edit form". Here you can edit each line in the form, parameters of each macro, and set form URL. This feature is unavailable when you drop macros visually.
Software-Promoter is designed to get you quickest way to fill out auto-form. While a page is loading, Software-Promoter tries to complete the fields using the predefined auto-form macros. Press "Submit" button any time if everything looks correct without waiting for the entire page to load. This will significantly accelerate the submission process.
Promote using E-mail templates
To use this feature just select "Action type: message" in dialog "Select site for submit form/message". Software-Promoter will display only sites contains valid contact E-mail or submission E-mail. Select any site(s) to process. Then select E-mail template from site-oriented templates. Messages will be created in Software-Promoter outbox and you may decide to send messages or delete it any time later.
Take a look to parameter "Use via E-mail to determine type of action" in Global Preferences. It defines filtering behavior when you choose site(s) to process.
Software-Promoter is shipped with some registration letters templates for your quick start.
I have tried to make all outgoing messages maximum "safety for delivery as non-spam". All dangerous tags such as "X-Library" are stripped from message headers, User-Agent is filled out correctly, your real names are used for "reply-to" etc.

Automated Google search
Google search gives you universal way to check product presence without using search forms on sites. Just clock "Check item using Google" command and Software-Promoter will query google.com for needed results on selected site. Results will display in built-in browser.
